The Sleights is a lovely contemporary eco-lodge with plenty of space for a family getaway, where you can enjoy gorgeous countryside surroundings as well as your very own outdoor hot tub to relax in. Located on an attractive park close to Cheddar in Somerset, this high-end holiday accommodation is sure to please.

Step into The Sleights and you’ll feel immediately welcomed by its superb amenities and modern style. There’s lots of room for everyone to spend time together in the spacious open-plan living area, which seats four on its two comfortable sofas and has a wall-mounted flatscreen TV with Freeview channels and a media unit.

Also in this room is a contemporary kitchen space including a fan-assisted electric oven with an integrated grill and a gas hob with extractor, as well as a fridge-freezer, a microwave, a dishwasher, and all the utensils and accessories you could need for preparing delicious meals. Once you’re done in the kitchen, you can all sit down together at the modern white dining table with its four leather chairs.

The lodge’s two bedrooms both have wall-mounted flatscreen TVs, bedside tables and lamps, built-in wardrobes with shelves and space to hang clothes, and fitted dressing tables with a mirror and seat. The master bedroom has a king-size bed and the second bedroom has two single beds, which can be set up as a super-king-size bed on request.

Both bedrooms have en-suites, with the master bedroom having a family bathroom with a shower over the bath and the second bedroom having a shower room with a walk-in shower. Both en-suites have a washbasin, WC, and shaver point, as well as luxurious touches like a heated towel rail and a heated mirror with LED lighting.

The Sleights boasts some spectacular outdoor space perfect for summer days and warm evenings, with its own wraparound terraced area which includes a luxurious sunken Jacuzzi hot tub to relax in, as well as sun loungers and outdoor seating with a coffee table. As well as the doors from the living room, the master bedroom also has direct access to the terrace.

With all this lodge’s luxuries, don’t forget to explore the grounds of Strawberryfield Park. Relax in the communal parkland area, enjoy the scenic little orchard, and down a pint or two at the Cider Barn. The resort is also perfectly situated for heading out to see the many attractions of Cheddar and beyond.
