Things to Try
Camel Creek Adventure Park
There’s plenty of fun for the whole family at Camel Creek Adventure Park in Wadebridge, with rides suited for all ages, from younger
children to thrill-seeking teens. With plenty of all-weather attractions and lots
of play areas and animal attractions, it all adds up to an exciting day out.
Harlyn Bay
Harlyn Bay is considered to be one of the nicest family
beaches in Cornwall, a gorgeous stretch of sand with plenty of space to relax
and play, as well as sweeping sand dunes and some superb rockpools to explore.
The water is safe and popular with novice surfers and surf schools.
Prideaux Place
This stunning Elizabethan manor is definitely worth paying a
visit to. The same family have lived in this house since it was constructed in
1592, and it’s now open for tours of the property or just casual strolls around
the beautiful grounds with views across the ancient deer park on site.
Retallack Aqua Park
For ‘Total Wipeout’ style fun on an inflatable assault
course floating in a large lake, pay a visit to Retallack Aqua Park, where the watery
fun never ends. You can also try your hand at surfing on the FlowRider machine
or give wakeboarding a go on the Wake Park to get your adrenaline going.
