The stunning Honeyhurst eco-lodge is decked out in superb Moroccan style and provides plenty of space for four guests to enjoy a getaway alongside plenty of other luxury lodges with hot tubs in Somerset, close to Cheddar. Honeyhurst’s open-plan living space offers a stylish and unique place to relax, with amazing décor as well as modern amenities such as a wall-mounted Bang and Olufsen TV and audio system, complete with Apple TV and a Bluetooth connection. There’s plenty of room to spread out and relax with a comfortable sofa and two armchairs providing sitting space for five. Sliding doors leading outside give this room a bright, open ambience.

Also in this room is a contemporary kitchen space with modern appliances and fittings like a single NEFF oven with a hob and grill, an integrated NEFF microwave, and a NEFF fridge-freezer and dishwasher. You certainly won’t go thirsty, with a handy integrated wine cooler as well as hot drinks provided by the Dualit kettle and 3-in-1 coffee machine (which is Nespresso coffee pod compatible). Sit down for your food at a breakfast bar with a pair of stools or the wooden dining table with four seats, or head outside onto the terrace where you’ll find a bistro set for al fresco enjoyment.

The two bedrooms both contain wall-mounted smart TVs, built-in wardrobes with plenty of storage space, and bedside tables with lamps. The master bedroom features a super-king-size bed, and the second bedroom has a pair of twin beds which can be set up as a super-king-size bed on request.

Both bedrooms have en-suite Villeroy and Boch shower rooms, each with a walk-in rainfall shower, wash basin, WC, and shaver point, as well as added touches like heated towel rails, LED heated mirrors, and Moroccan tiling.

The outside space of Honeyhurst is no less appealing than the inside, with a private decking area with LED lighting wrapping around the lodge, perfect for enjoying hot days and summer evenings outdoors. Here you can soothe away your stress in the warm bubbles of a partially sunken hot tub, stretch out on the sun loungers, or enjoy something tasty at the outdoor dining table. When the sun sets, sit under the gorgeous glow of the starlight canopy for a truly magical experience. The decking is accessible from the living room and both of the bedrooms.

There are also some fantastic ways to spend your time out in the grounds of the Strawberryfield Park resort. You can enjoy local specialities at the on-site Cider Barn, wander through the little orchard, and enjoy the green space of the communal parkland. You’re also well situated to set out to explore Cheddar’s many amazing attractions, or head further afield to see the rest of Somerset.
