Lapwing is a small comfortable lodge well equipped with everything you need (like home from home). This is the second time we have been this year and hope to return later in the year at some point.

We stayed in Lapwing Lodge, perfectly located close to the Loch and with lovely views over the fields and up to Ben More. The location was perfect for exploring the region.

We stayed in the Lapwing Lodge over the weekend with two couples and had a really great time! The views are simply mind-blowing and it is hard to believe that Glasgow is only an hour and a half away, as you feel so far away from the city rush. Although this is the smallest of all lodges, it is also very cozy and definitely large enough for four people. Everything was very clean, well equipped and the inside is fully wood-cladded, giving the lodge a very authentic feel.

Situated in Tyndrum, just 6 miles from Crianlarich, the Green Welly Stop has become famous for its vast selection of whiskey.
