Terms & Conditions of Booking
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY AND UNDERSTAND THE FOLLOWING TERMS:
Holiday Cottages & Studio Rooms
When you make your booking and we have received the required deposit, a legally binding contract exists between us that is non-cancellable and non-refundable, except in exceptional circumstances.
You may still remain liable to pay in full or in part for the booking, even if you are unable to take your holiday. Even where you have not paid in full at the time of cancellation, you will remain liable for the full cost.
If for some reason you do need to cancel, it is important that you tell us at the first opportunity (in writing) so that we may attempt to re-let your cottage / studio room and minimize your loss.
You should take out cancellation insurance to protect you against possible loss.
If we re-let your cottage / studio room, we will refund your money except for a handling charge of £30.00.
Please note all our cottages and studio rooms are now strictly NO SMOKING.
Deposit
One third to be paid when booking, balance due one calendar month prior to arrival.
No reminders are given. All money paid for the holiday is non-refundable.
No pets or animals are allowed into the cottages /studio rooms or on the premises.
Access to the cottage or studio room on the day of arrival is after 4.00pm and before 6.00pm. If this is inconvenient please contact us to try and arrange a mutually convenient time.
Cottages & studio rooms must be vacated before 10.00am on the departure date.
Under no circumstances may the cottage or studio room be occupied by more persons than stated when hired.
Cottages & studio rooms must be left in a reasonable and tidy condition on departure.
We ask you to inform us of any breakages which occur. Within reason we require that breakages be paid for.
We endeavour to provide a safe environment at Rawcliffe House Farm, but we accept no responsibility for any loss, damage or injuries whilst staying at Rawcliffe House Farm.
We would only cancel your holiday if your accommodation was unavailable for reasons beyond our control, we would, however, attempt to offer you alternative accommodation. If this was not possible or unacceptable to you, then we would refund all monies paid by you for the holiday. Except in exceptional circumstances, our liability would not extend beyond this refund.
